Ethics

Welcome to the Federal Defense Industries, Inc.'s Ethics and Compliance Page. We at FDI are proud of our reputation for excellence - a reputation based on our commitment to our customers and suppliers and adherence to the highest ethical standards. This Ethics Page, along with our Goals and Values Page represents a reflection of our commitment to provide open access to pertinent information about FDI's guiding business values and our Ethics Program.

FDI complies with the Code of Business Ethics and Conduct by ensuring that all its employees who are engaged in the performance of a contract will have available to them a copy of our detailed "Code of Business Ethics and Conduct." FDI will exercise due diligence to prevent and detect criminal conduct and will promote an organizational culture that encourages ethical conduct and a commitment to compliance with the law.

As an internal FDI policy, neither FDI nor any of its employees will encourage any gift or incentive as a basis for developing any business relationship. We will not accept any gift with a perceived value in excess of $20.00, or any gift of any value wherein the purpose of the gift is not defined or is any way questionable.

In addition, FDI will promote, encourage and enforce compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR's) which pertain to the Government acquisitions process. FAR 52.203-13 and its provisions are regularly disseminated to all levels of management and employees.

Employees are encouraged to bring to the attention of the Compliance Committee or the Office of the President any situation of potential conflict with FDI's core belief and ethical practices.
